Egg #1

You may remember earlier in the month I introduced you to ‘the girls,’ well today one of them laid her first egg!!!  It was a proud moment with much discussion over who was going to get to eat it!!

Hopefully many more eggs will be on their way in the days that follow.  The egg man did warn that we may not get an egg from each hen everyday, and that did make me sad, but I cant believe how happy this one little egg has made me.  And believe me when i say ‘little.’  It was tiny!!  Again, the egg man said they will start small and get bigger.  Cant wait to check tomorrow!!
